What is Kwath?

Kwath (क्वाथ) is the old Ayurvedic word for a slow brew of herbs, roots and spices. We paired that idea with proper Darjeeling and green tea, then packed it into sticks you can carry anywhere.

Why a pocket pack?

Good tea usually stays home in a tin. Ours rides along in a flip-top pack the size of your palm, so the office pantry, the train and the hotel room all get a real cup.

    Shop blends

    No strainer.

    No teapot.

    No mess.

Real leaves. Real petals. Real roots.

Every blend starts with whole-leaf green tea or Darjeeling black, then gets the good stuff. The recipes took two years of work with herbalists in Uttarakhand and tea tasters in Siliguri.

Made for wherever you end up.

      Desk drawer, 4pm.
Window seat. Ask the crew for hot water.
      Hostel room, exam week.
      After a heavy biryani.
      That hotel kettle, finally useful.
      Night shift, second wind.

      Before you dip.

How do I brew a stick?

Put one stick in a cup of hot water, about 200 ml. Wait 2 to 3 minutes, give it a stir and lift it out. Green blends like water just off the boil. Black blends are happy at a full boil.

Is this herbal tea or real tea?

Both. Every blend is built on green tea or Darjeeling black tea, with herbs, flowers, roots or spices added. So every blend has caffeine: gentler in the green ones, fuller in the black ones.

How many cups are in a pack?

      Eight sticks, eight cups.

      Is Kwath a health product?

Kwath is tea. We talk about how the blends taste and when they fit your day, not about treating anything. If you are pregnant, on medication or managing a condition, check with your doctor before trying herbs like liquorice.
